well it seems like you have had a little bit of everything throne your way,no bears yet knock on wood.i have a taurus snub nose 38 maybe it would be a good idea to carry it in certain places.another good thing is pepper spray i know first hand. we had gottin some awhile ago and it leaked and got all over my back and my hands,let me tell you it burns,i feel sorry for anything or anyone who gets hit with it i rather got shot and get it over with.as far as Ozzy maybe i'll wait until spring before i take him deep into the woods,i'll just take him to local places i know for now.PS did Molly sniff out those micro boxes for you on the ants letterbox.if so i would like to hire her ha ha.

Some of those ant letterboxes are tough. Molly really does help
sometimes. I have to watch here body language but she does find small
trails, sometimes slight paths to letterboxes, water, foundations,
all kinds of things. Very seldom an actual letterbox but we have a
good time. First time I went up against micro boxes were these ant
